Killzone hasn't set any new standards (except graphics wise).

Uh, I hate those kinda games (like this and GTA) where you can spend huge amounts of time just fooling around while your brain turns numb... And in the end... You've just literally wasted hours upon hours doing absolutely nothing worth anything.
It ALWAYS feels sad at the end, I realize that now.

One game (GT5) is enough for my sim fix... And MotorStorm provides the fun and intense racing that I devour even more.

That ALONE makes 2 better than 1... I can't believe some people claim 1 is better with a really abysmal campaign to go.
It just feels like they just suddenly got it in the 2nd game and made the game play much faster paced and satisfying whereas in the 1st you had to stick to cover and pop up and down, rinse and repeat.

But the thing HERE is that Drake is presented as an "every-man." The developers have stated that countless times and the cutscenes portray him as a normal, reasonable man...
But when you take the control, hundreds die. How are we supposed to care if someone like Jeff the cameraman is killed?

Sully was "too old" for much of the stuff in Uncharted 1 already (he said that, u know) so how can he be able to hang with the possibly older Drake now??
That'd be ridiculous.
That's why Drake can't be much older in 3, he just looks that way for whatever reason.
